To make a booking we require a 15% deposit made payable by BACS. The remainder of the payment must then be made no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date. For bookings with arrival dates in less than 8 weeks, full payment must be made to secure the booking. Payment details will be sent out in an email confirming your booking.
By booking your holiday with Lakes Yurts you agree to the following terms and conditions:
All Yurts are available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be left in a clean condition not later than 10am on departure day.
On departure all yurts are to be left clean and all rubbish is to be disposed of responsibly in the bins on site. The door must be locked on departure and keys left hanging where originally found.
When you make a booking and payment an email confirming the dates and times of your holiday is sent to you. Booking and payment is considered the establishment of a legal contract.
We understand that circumstances change and emergencies occur. If a booking is cancelled before the 6 weeks prior to arrival the deposit will be refunded minus a 25% admin fee. Deposits will not be returned for cancellations within the 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Extreme Conditions: Lakes Yurts reserve the right to cancel a holiday at short notice if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a yurt due to extreme conditions, ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstance. Under such unlikely circumstances your full payment will be returned.
If on your arrival you find any items or fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to Jennifer on the phone number given and it will be replaced. We do accept a degree of wear and tear but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be held responsible for and must make good to the lowest market value. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a yurt has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc.
You are responsible for children at all times. Lakes Yurts accept no responsibility for injury incurred on either sites.
Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

Lakes Yurts cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. There are yale locks on the yurt doors.
All our yurts hold a strict NO SMOKING POLICY and smoking in any of our yurts will result in a fine of up to £100 in order to clean to a satisfactory standard. Anyone who smokes outside of the yurts is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin and NOT littering the surrounding area of the yurt.
Fires are restricted strictly to the wood burning stoves and braziers only. No open fires or fire pits are allowed.
